Bruising and swelling are common after a liposuction procedure. For this reason, it may take a few weeks to see your full results, as it may take a few weeks for swelling to subside. A compression garment can be worn to help reduce swelling and enhance results. Your surgeon will notify you if a compression garment is needed.
