Double Board Certification
Checking the credentials of a plastic surgeon is one of the first steps patients should take when choosing a physician. Some surgeons refer to themselves as "board certified," even though they haven't been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The ABPS is the only board sanctioned by the American Board of Medical Specialties. The ABPS requires more extensive training and has more rigorous standards than other boards that offer certification for "cosmetic" surgeons.
In addition to being an ABPS diplomate, Dr. Bidic is certified in the sub-specialty of surgery for the hand, and is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).
Mastering the Artistry of Surgery
Dr. Bidic studied art at the master's level, learning to render and appreciate beauty in many forms. He learned during this time to see the world through multiple perspectives, refining his aesthetic eye in ways he believes have greatly benefitted his surgical skills.
